Poetry: Fear No Evil

You know what I love

I love the taste of beer and cigarettes

On a cold winter’s night

I love the feeling of a soft hoodie

And Cards Against Humanity

I love the feeling of moonshine

On sunkissed skin

I love the smell of roses

Picked in the dark at New Farm

I love the feeling of keeping you company

Hunter

I love the darkness and pain in you

And the honour that you give the Goddess of Death

I love the knowledge that you give me

And the faith you have that I can change things

I love that you’re not scared of anything

Except maybe the demons in your own mind

I love that you agreed with me

Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of Death

I shall fear no evil

Because I am that evil

One day, we’ll hunt again together

Brother of mine
