Poetry: Remembrance

Today we remember the sacrifice of all those who have died in service to our country. Lest we forget.

Honoured brothers and sisters in arms

Went so far ahead of me and you

Fought for me to be here and you

Awaken all our memories and you

Bring me to my knees and you

Threw yourselves bravely and you

You stood the line quietly and you

Won the battle of our hearts and you

Fought more than the good fight and you

Deserve all our honour and you

Gave your lives for each other and you

Will never be forgotten
