Blending my love into vibrant colours

I am awash with the bright contrasts

Of pink and red and yellow and green

A kaleidoscope of mixed medium feelings

My heart explodes with the riot of it all

How can I have so many flavours and

Why don’t I want to settle into only one

I suppose life is a pretty picture and I paint it

With all the breath in my body and

All the love in my soul
