Poetry: Wild Spring

For my dearest Cherry Love, thank you so much for coming. You’re beautiful, and you’re going to be just fine xo

When the Lord knocks on her door

She flicks her hair behind her ear and answers

And she cries out Jesu, Jesu!

Throws on a cape and sweeps into the trees

Eyes wide and earrings swinging

In the wild spring breeze and flowers

Bloom under your feet and in your hands

She is surrounded by air and light petals

Flitering through to the path on the Elven

Forest floor which is narrow and lit by fireflies

It winds and winds as she follows the path

To the door where the Cherry Trees bloom

In the garden of the woodland church

We’ll go to the beach ❤

Love,

Marie Athena
