In a way I don’t quite know what to say to you

How can you be so selfish and throw so much of yourself away

How can you do this to me knowing everything that we built

I trusted you to put all of yourself into this and to try for both of us

In the end I thought that was the only thing that mattered

That we were a team

That we were there for each other

That we stuck together when we needed each other the most

In a way I know exactly what to say to you

That when we are living under a dark and terrifying sky

You do not have the right to give away your umbrella

Expecting fully that you can come and stand underneath mine
